I'm Antonella Valerio, enchanted by the charm of designing and wearing clothes that recall the past, its elegance and its harmony.
My story as a stylist was born with me, since I was a teenager I used to sew, unstitch and readjust my clothes and I always had a seamstress to inspire.
Since that time I have been drawing, planning, experimenting and creating exclusive retro-style clothes.
It is’nt nostalgia but above all the desire to revive and get to know that timeless charm with exclusive garments suitable for today's woman.
My research is in the forms of the past, but enhancing their elegance and sensuality with fine Italian fabrics of authentic high quality sartorial manufacture, reinterpreting style and femininity, with garments of timeless elegance and quality that enhance every woman .
My collections are made with fine Italian fabrics from an authentic high quality sartorial manufacture, certified "Made in Italy".
The choice of fabrics while reflecting the inspiration from the models of the past and, more precisely from the 50s, due to the effect of the volumes, rigidity of the shape, color tones and floral prints, absolutely does not neglect the comfort and style requirements life of today's woman. The modeling takes this into account with solutions that are never constricting or hindering wearability, and in the fabrics there is almost always a slight percentage of stretch, as well as resorting where possible to high quality sustained jersey.
The models are studied in detail to meet the needs of the different female physiques, even within the same size: buttons and pleats in the jackets, closures with ribbons in the skirts, belts with buckles that are interchangeable in shape and color; every detail makes every woman's size flexible and customizable.
I imagined a woman who travels and I created a linear, elegant and formal tight dress, with the comfort of a quality jersey, which with simple accessories can give the effect of a suit, a belt with interchangeable buckle for color variations more sparkling, a handy stole, a silk blouse and a skirt, for various combinations of different styles and looks…for the day, for travel, for work or for the evening…and all in a hand luggage.
And for the most important occasions I have thought of a woman who does not go unnoticed, for the volumes of her dress with a fluffy tulle petticoat, for the gaudy or brocade fabrics, to be remembered, and to feel like a Hollywood diva, because every day can be an occasion to feel like a special DIVA.
A style that is far from "fashion trends" and its sudden changes, which is really "timeless" and which enhances the femininity of every woman, with any physicality, making her feel appreciated and admired.
Choosing to wear a dress from my collections is a journey through comfort, colours, patterns, liveliness, fun and elegance.
It is a great joy to be able to offer comfort to women with every nuance: elegant, romantic, vintage, pin up and even the most practical.
My creations want to be a souvenir and a tribute to that era, the 50s, which took its first steps towards female emancipation and which gave permission to the major stylists of the time to dare as never before, giving life to phenomena that even today have a leading role in the field of fashion.
