Villa Franciacorta is one of the historic and pioneering estates of the Franciacorta denomination, founded in 1960 by the Bianchi family in the medieval hamlet of Villa, in Monticelli Brusati, on the hills overlooking Lake Iseo. Today, the winery is led by the third generation of the family, which carries forward a coherent and rigorous vision of premium Metodo Classico, founded on territorial identity, time, and craftsmanship.
The estate extends over approximately 100 hectares, largely contiguous, of which 46 are planted with vineyards cultivated exclusively with estate-owned grapes according to certified organic practices. The vineyards are the result of a careful zoning process initiated in the 1970s, which identified the most suitable parcels, including the spectacular Gradoni terraces, with slopes of up to 45%. Here, soils of marine origin, composed of clays and marls rich in fossils, give the wines a marked sapidity, aromatic finesse, and a natural predisposition to longevity.
Villa Franciacorta represents a radical choice within the denomination: it produces exclusively vintage Franciacorta. Each bottle bears the vintage and faithfully reflects the climatic course of the harvest, without blending different years. Grapes from individual parcels are vinified separately, creating a palette of base wines that precisely express the different micro-identities of the terroir.
The winery is entirely underground, carved into the Madonna della Rosa hill and perfectly integrated into the landscape. Here, over one million bottles age under natural conditions of constant temperature, silence, and darkness. Long ageing on the lees—never less than 36 months and up to over 10–15 years for the reserves—and manual remuage, carried out according to tradition, are central elements of the Villa Franciacorta style, which prioritizes depth, balance, and expressive precision.
Alongside tradition, the estate invests in research and sustainability: the use of selected indigenous yeasts, collaboration with universities, soil-respectful agronomic management, organic certification, and an ISO 14001 environmental management system. Every production choice is oriented toward the protection of the terroir and its transmission to future generations.
Villa Franciacorta is also a destination of excellence for wine tourism. The restored historic hamlet hosts Villa Gradoni Charme & Nature, with 22 residences, and Osteria Éla, offering an immersive experience where wine, landscape, and culture converge.
Every Franciacorta signed by Villa Franciacorta is the authentic expression of a unique place, a family, and a vision: that of a high-end Italian Metodo Classico capable of competing internationally with the great terroir-driven sparkling wines, while maintaining a deeply artisanal and contemporary identity.

Emozione Franciacorta Brut Biologico 2020
Emozione is the emblematic Franciacorta of Villa Franciacorta, the wine that more than any other tells its history, style, and identity. First produced in 1978, it represents the heart of the estate’s production and, since its very first vintage, has maintained an unchanged grape composition—a choice that reflects a precise and consistent vision over time.
The blend is composed of 85% Chardonnay, which lends elegance, freshness, and aromatic finesse; 10% Pinot Noir, which contributes structure and depth; and 5% Pinot Blanc, which completes the wine with balance and delicacy. This combination, unchanged for over forty years, has become Emozione’s stylistic signature.
Like all Villa Franciacorta wines, Emozione is exclusively vintage. This is a choice the estate has upheld from the very beginning, interpreting each harvest as an authentic expression of the year. While the production regulations require a minimum of 30 months of ageing on the lees, Villa Franciacorta chooses to go further, ensuring at least 36 months of lees ageing even for its non-reserve wines, in order to achieve greater depth, balance, and complexity.
What makes Emozione unique is that it is the expression of all 26 estate-owned parcels of Villa Franciacorta. Each vineyard is vinified separately and contributes to the final blend, giving life to a Franciacorta that is an authentic synthesis of the estate’s entire viticultural heritage. Emozione does not tell the story of a single cru, but rather the harmony of soils, exposures, and microclimates that define the estate.
In the glass, it appears a bright straw yellow. On the nose, it opens with elegant aromas of white flowers, fresh fruit, and delicate notes of bread crust. The palate is fine and enveloping, accompanied by persistent bubbles that highlight a balanced and refined structure, with a long and harmonious finish.
Versatile and food-friendly, Emozione naturally accompanies everything from aperitif to a full meal. Thanks to its structure, long ageing, and artisanal care, it is also a Franciacorta capable of evolving over time, gaining complexity and depth after disgorgement.
Emozione is the perfect synthesis of Villa Franciacorta: a wine that brings together continuity, terroir, and family vision in a single, unmistakable expression.
Mon Satèn Franciacorta Brut Biologico 2020
Mon Satèn is the most velvety and sensual expression of the Villa Franciacorta style. Produced exclusively from 100% Chardonnay, it comes from selected clones planted in the estate’s most suitable vineyards, where soils and exposures enhance its natural finesse.
As with all Villa Franciacorta wines, Mon Satèn is the result of parcel-by-parcel vinification: the grapes come from different estate-owned parcels, vinified separately to preserve their identity and contribute to the final balance. After the first fermentation in stainless steel, the wine rests on the lees for at least 36 months, an ageing process that defines its creaminess, depth, and unmistakable elegance.
Mon Satèn is immediately recognizable for its fine, silky mousse, which caresses the palate with extreme delicacy. On the nose, it opens with a harmonious bouquet of white flowers, fresh fruit, and subtle notes of yeast, anticipating a soft, enveloping, and perfectly balanced palate.
On the palate, its natural roundness and refined structure are supported by measured freshness, delivering a long and harmonious persistence that is never intrusive. It is a wine that seduces through grace, precision, and stylistic consistency.
Versatile and refined, Mon Satèn is ideal as an aperitif, but it truly excels when paired with fish, delicate first courses, and vegetable-based dishes, thanks to its elegance and silky texture. Owing to its long ageing and artisanal care, it is also a Franciacorta capable of evolving positively over time, gaining complexity after disgorgement.
Mon Satèn represents the softest interpretation of Franciacorta according to Villa Franciacorta: a wine of great finesse, combining terroir, artisanal sensitivity, and absolute balance.
Boké Franciacorta Rosè Brut Biologico 2021
Bokè Rosé is Villa Franciacorta’s most refined and intense interpretation of Pinot Noir. A Franciacorta Rosé that enhances the grape’s unmistakable nobility, combining expressive power and elegance in a deep and engaging balance.
Produced exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir, Bokè is sourced from the estate’s most suitable vineyards for this variety. The grapes come from eight dedicated parcels, vinified separately to preserve the unique characteristics of each vineyard and to contribute to the complexity of the final blend. Careful and respectful winemaking allows the creation of a Rosé of great precision and personality.
After the first fermentation in stainless steel, the wine rests on the lees for at least 36 months in the underground cellars of Villa Franciacorta. This extended ageing shapes its structure, enriches the aromatic profile, and lends depth and harmony to the palate.
Visually, it stands out for its pale pink color with delicate coppery reflections, bright and elegant. The perlage is fine and vibrant. On the nose, it reveals intense and refined aromas of red forest fruits, redcurrant, and gooseberry, accompanied by Mediterranean notes and hints of pastry. The palate is enveloping, fresh, and savory, with an elegant texture and a long, satisfying finish.
Thanks to its structure and personality, Bokè Rosé is a Franciacorta perfectly suited to the entire meal, ideal when paired with flavorful dishes, roasts, and characterful preparations, yet also capable of surprising as an aperitif. It is a wine that evolves gracefully over time, gaining complexity after disgorgement.
Bokè Rosé is a Franciacorta of great character and refinement: a tribute to Pinot Noir and its ability to inspire emotion, signed by Villa Franciacorta.
Extra Blu Franciacorta Extra Brut Biologico 2019
Extra Blu is the Franciacorta that more than any other expresses the geological soul of Villa Franciacorta. From the label itself, it evokes the ancient sea that once covered these hills and that today resurfaces in the wines through pronounced minerality and vibrant freshness. It is in fact born from soils of marine origin, rich in stratified marls and fossils, capable of imprinting character and expressive precision.
The blend is composed of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, an equilibrium designed to enhance tension, verticality, and structure. The grapes come from estate-owned vineyards cultivated according to organic principles and from 24 parcels vinified separately, in order to preserve the identity of each individual plot and to build a wine of great complexity and coherence.
After fermentation in stainless steel, a portion of the wines is aged in wood before tirage. This is followed by a long ageing period of at least 48 months on the lees in the underground cellars of Villa Franciacorta, an ageing process that imparts depth, precision, and a perfect balance between freshness and structure. The Extra Brut dosage underscores its dry, authentic, and terroir-driven character.
In the glass, it shows a pale straw-yellow color. On the nose, it is clean and expressive, with notes of almond, citron, ginger, citrus fruits, and mountain herbs, accompanied by delicate floral nuances. The palate is savory, taut, and dynamic, supported by a fine perlage and a long, precise finish that invites another sip.
Extra Blu is a Franciacorta of great personality, ideal for those seeking freshness, minerality, and depth—perfect at the table yet also capable of surprising on its own. A wine that evolves beautifully over time, authentically expressing the deep bond between Villa Franciacorta and its terroir.
Extra Blu is the purest expression of the sea in Franciacorta: essential, decisive, unmistakable.
