BaròGin, Premium Distilled Gin.

BaròGin is the result of a careful and accurate research on the birth of the Italian gin, which has unearthed 15th century gin recipe books where wine and juniper were the basis of gin. The study of the recipe took 14 months, elaborated following the most ancient art of distillation and the traditional production methods. Thanks to its important and complex structure, the Barolo wine, infused in single botanicals and consequently distilled, releases to the distillate pleasant spicy and fruity scents typical of red wine.

Handcrafted in small batches using artisanal methods and quality raw materials carefully selected, distilled in a copper alembic from the 1700s fueled by a wood fire. Just like Barolo, Barògin is a living product: each production will give different characteristics. It will be the vintage, as for great wines, to define the nuances of our productions.

This is how a new generation of Hazelnut Liqueur is born, perfect as a straight after meal or with ice and mixed in the most elaborate cocktails.

The hazelnuts, exclusively Piedmont IGP hazelnuts from the Langhe, proved to be the best in the world for their excellent organoleptic characteristics, are grown by us in our family farm located in Diano d’Alba. In August, hazelnuts are harvested, selected and dried in the sun. After a delicate oven roasting to release their fragrance, they undergo a maceration process in alcohol to extract all their aroma. Sugar is used less than any other hazelnut liqueur, no aromas or other combinations are added.

At sight it is hazy due to the natural oils released by the hazelnut during the infusion in alcohol.
