Design and production of the world-renowned HANDMADE CAPRI SANDALS with the aim of preserving and passing on this ancient method and workmanship treasured in artisan families from generation to generation.
The story of Rasoterra is quite recent, but not the one of the craftsmen who currently manufacture its different collections: born into art and raised in artisan workshops shrouded by the fascinating smell of TUSCAN LEATHER.
Our desire is to bring a land steeped in history and unmistakable style closer to the many women and girls around the world who already know the HANDNAILED SANDALS and also to those who have yet to learn about them and who may one day come and visit those places that gave them life.
There are many essential tricks that give life to the perfection of a true HANDCRAFTED SANDAL:
-The making of the sole done through layers of leather that are never glued with each other, instead overlapped and stitched to convey strength ;
– mignon straps and bands are nailed to the sole with very small pegs – called semenze (seeds)-, to provide them with tightness;
– the materials used are always first-rate, and this is evident not only in the typical look and smell of quality leather, but also in the label (vero cuoio Toscano – GENUINE TUSCAN LEATHER and 100% MADE IN ITALY) certifying its origin.
RASOTERRA has also decided to introduce new and unusual materials, like velvet, linen, macrame, patent leather, gros-grain etc.
The sandals can be manufactured based on customer's design and ideas.

CAPRI SANDAL
A Sandal with wide instep band in soft and fine velvet and a thinner band on the big toe decorated with high quality precious crystals.
The velvet band gradually tapers off sideways, so to further slim down the foot instep. An ideal model for the much craved summer nights, both to complement a refined and elegant look and a more casual one.
Color: Four colour variants (Burgundy, Light Pink, Black, Mustard Yellow).
MENORCA SANDAL
This model features a wide, laterally shaped, instep and thinner toe band in soft leopard calf hair leather finished with dark brown leather trim
Color: dark and light brown and beige leopard pattern with dark brown trims
FILICUDI SANDAL
Filicudi Sandal is a flip-flop sandal featuring an iconic T-shape studded with Emerald Green, Amber yellow and Purple precious crystals. This sandal also has an ankle strap in laminated leather and a buckle to adjust its width according to the needs.
Color: Champagne laminated leather strap and Emerald Green, Amber Yellow and Purple crystals.
POSITANO SANDAL
The Positano sandal is a thong-style sandal with a distinctive T-shape on top made of soft, fine velvet. This sandal also features an adjustable strap on the ankle with a buckle to allow you to adjust the width to your preference.
Color: Velvet in four variations (burgundy, light pink, black, mustard yellow).

A processed linen instep sandal with fringed and crisscrossed toes and laminated leather mignon around the big toes.
