Brilùs was founded with a clear vision: to restore the reputation of Oltrepò Pavese as one of Italy’s most authentic and promising territories for sparkling wine. Rooted in three generations of family history, the project is not a winery, but a curator of excellence. Our mission is to select, craft, and share Metodo Classico sparkling wines that embody the true character of the land.
Oltrepò Pavese is the largest Italian area – and the third largest worldwide – for the cultivation of Pinot Noir. This grape, naturally suited to sparkling winemaking, thrives in the region’s clay soils, giving wines their distinctive minerality, tension, and elegance. At Brilùs, we see ourselves as interpreters of this potential, committed to highlighting the unique voice of our terroir.
Our approach is based on partnerships with local wineries that share our philosophy. Each must adopt organic farming, manual harvesting, and artisanal winemaking practices. Together with trusted oenologists, we carefully select the best base wines each year, analyzing their balance, expression, and aging potential. Only the lots that meet our strict standards are chosen to become part of the Brilùs collection.
Attention to detail defines our work. Every step, from the vineyard to the bottle, is guided by respect for raw materials and precision in the cellar. We focus on long refinement on lees – a minimum of 36 months – and on carefully measured sugar dosage, ensuring wines that are pure, vertical, and persistent. The result is sparkling wines with fine and continuous perlage, freshness, sapidity, and remarkable drinkability.

Crafted exclusively from carefully selected Pinot Noir grown in the clay-rich soils of Oltrepò, Scintilla reveals the unique personality of the territory. The vineyards are farmed organically and harvested by hand to preserve purity and balance. Each year, together with expert oenologists, we identify the finest base wines capable of expressing verticality, minerality, and longevity. Only these chosen lots undergo the long refinement process that defines Scintilla’s character.
The wine rests on its lees for a minimum of 36 months, developing depth, structure, and a refined aromatic profile. The Extra Brut dosage highlights its natural freshness and tension, allowing the terroir to speak with precision and authenticity. Its name – meaning inspiration, flair – reflects the wine’s character: vibrant, expressive, and full of personality, yet always elegant and precise.
Sourced from organically farmed vineyards on the clay soils of Oltrepò, the Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand at the perfect moment to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. Through a meticulous vinification process, only the most expressive base wines are selected, those capable of balancing fruit, structure, and elegance. The chosen cuvée then undergoes a long refinement on lees – no less than 36 months – to develop depth, creaminess, and complexity.
The result is a sparkling wine that is both refined and playful: a rosé with a distinctive identity, built on the purity of its fruit, the minerality of its terroir, and the artisanal patience of Metodo Classico.
