Argentalia Labs is an Italian spirits company born from Argentine roots. We research South American botanicals and ingredients from our heritage and translate them into contemporary spirits through Italian know-how: amari, bitters, liqueurs and distillates.
Our work starts with the raw material—origin, processing methods and sensory identity—then continues in Italy with careful extraction, ageing and blending, always aiming for clarity, balance and recognisable character. We develop mono-botanical and multi-botanical recipes, from intense herbal profiles to bright bitter aperitivo styles, designed for both modern mixology and refined sipping.
Argentalia Labs operates across product development, production and international distribution, supporting partners with a clear brand story and practical tools for trade: serve suggestions, cocktail applications and activation formats. Our goal is simple: bring the botanicals of South America into the world of Italian spirits, with authenticity, precision and ambition.

Amaro Yerba
Amaro Yerba is a mono-botanical amaro made from a single star ingredient: Yerba Mate. We import selected Yerba Mate from Argentina, then craft the spirit in Italy to deliver a pure, unmistakable aromatic profile.
Our blend combines leaves and palo (the woody part of the plant). Both are dried in Argentina using barbacuá, a traditional wood-fired method that slowly dehydrates the plant material, boosting intensity and adding elegant smoky, peat-like nuances.
ABV: 33%
Ingredients: selected Yerba Mate, high-quality agricultural wheat alcohol, cane sugar.
Formats: 70 cl and 50 cl.
The process starts with a cold infusion of Yerba Mate in high-quality agricultural wheat alcohol. After extraction, the spirit goes through a 5-month ageing period, allowing the profile to round out and integrate naturally. Amaro Yerba is then bottled unfiltered, relying only on natural decantation: the liquid is drawn from the upper layer, leaving any natural sediments at the bottom. No added flavors. No additives. Just Yerba Mate, handled with precision.
On the nose, earthy and vegetal notes recall cut tobacco and dry hay. The palate opens with gentle spice, softens into subtle honeyed tones, then tightens into the distinctive Yerba Mate bitterness, reminiscent of tea leaves. The finish is long and evolving, with hints of licorice, tobacco, roasted wood, chamomile, freshly cut grass, and hay.
Amaro Yerba works neat or over ice, and it’s built for mixology: bright in a Yerba Tonic (with tonic water and citrus) and bold in a Paloma Yerba (with grapefruit soda and lime). Versatile and distinctive, it can lead an aperitif, elevate classic cocktails, or become a signature ingredient for bartenders looking for something unexpected.
