The Strong Digestive is a project born from the desire to carry forward a century-old recipe crafted in the breathtaking setting of the Dolomites. The recipe is the fruit of the passion and expertise of a pharmacist who developed it in the early 1900s, before entrusting it to Lucia, who has safeguarded it ever since.
In 2025, Lucia's grandson decided to honour this legacy and share it beyond the family home — founding The Strong Digestive together with three friends. The company name was chosen by Lucia herself, a tribute to the product's remarkable digestive properties, while the product name — Il Verde — evokes the distinctive green hue that emerges from macerating fresh botanicals in alcohol.
