In-fly srl

IN-FLY is an Italian precision machining company based in Sellero (Brescia), in the heart of the Lombardy manufacturing district. Founded in 2014, it took over the team and know-how of a workshop with decades of experience in aerospace parts. We manufacture mechanical components and assemblies to customer drawings and specifications, mainly for the aerospace industry.
Our quality management system is certified to EN 9100:2018. Every part is produced on customer-approved process routes, with full traceability by work order and in-process dimensional inspection according to the control plan of each part.
Our shop runs nine CNC machines: multi-axis turn-mill centres with Y axis, live tooling and sub-spindles, twin-spindle production lathes and a 3+2-axis machining centre. They are supported by in-house honing, deburring and a metrology room with CMM.
We machine aluminium alloys, stainless and special steels, bronze and titanium to micron-level tolerances, in batches from 5 to over 100 pieces. Typical parts include pistons, bushings, valve bodies, rods, screws and fittings. Through suppliers qualified for aerospace components we deliver finished parts, including surface treatments and non-destructive testing.
The same discipline we apply to aerospace parts is available to customers in other demanding sectors, such as medical, motorsport, automation and packaging.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE EN 9100:2018

Complete machining of complex turned parts in a single set-up. Our multi-axis lathes combine C and Y axes, live tooling and sub-spindles for back-working: Daewoo PUMA 2600SY, PUMA 2000Y and PUMA 240M, plus a Nakamura-Tome WT-150 with twin spindles and twin turrets. Turning, milling, drilling and threading are completed without re-clamping, reducing handling and tolerance stack-up on micron-tolerance parts.

Production turning of shafts, pistons, bushings, fittings and threaded parts on a twin-spindle Nakamura-Tome TW-8 and on 2-axis CNC lathes (two Daewoo PUMA 240B, Lynx 220). Batches range from 5 to over 100 pieces, with set-up and inspection plan managed for each work order.

AWEA BM850 vertical machining centre with 3+2-axis capability (A and B axes) for prismatic parts, multi-face machining and secondary milling operations on turned components.

Finishing and quality in-house: Sunnen honing for precision bores, a dedicated deburring station and a metrology room equipped with a Brown & Sharpe CMM, a Mitutoyo roughness tester, profile projectors and calibrated gauges. Every part is checked according to its own control plan; instruments are calibrated by Accredia-accredited laboratories.

Ready-to-fit parts from a single supplier. We source raw material (aluminium alloys, stainless and special steels) from approved suppliers, check it on arrival, and manage external processes through suppliers qualified for aerospace components: anodising, passivation, cadmium plating and non-destructive testing. Parts are delivered with full traceability by work order under our EN 9100:2018 quality system.
