TOYO TANSO EUROPE S.p.A. belongs to Toyo Tanso Group, since 1997, when ROGNONI S.p.A was bought and renamed as TOYO TANSO EUROPE S.p.A. in Italy.
Toyo Tanso began as Kondo Carbon Kogyosho manufacturing carbon brushes in 1941.
Since becoming the first company in the world to successfully mass produce large-size isotropic graphite in 1974, the Toyo Tanso Group's carbon products and technology have continued to evolve with the needs of the time.
Toyo Tanso Europe S.p.A. is specialized in mass production of carbon brush and realization of graphite components according to customer drawings.
Thanks to our technical department, customized CFC (carbon fiber composite) structures can be designed and realized. CFC represent the ideal solution in heat treatment field, due to his great mechanical and physical properties: high strength, light weight, and high dimensional stability at high temperatures.
We currently cover a wide range of fields such as automobiles and home appliances to cutting-edge products in such fields as aerospace, medical care and next-generation as semiconductors.

At the Toyo Tanso Group, we develop and produce carbon brushes for a variety of customer needs and purposes, applying
the superior technology and quality assurance know-how that we have developed over our many years of research in the field. Our
products exude minimum impact on the environment, and can be used for many different applications.
Graphite electrode for EDM, crucibles and continuous casting die
Toyo Tanso’s special graphite products are highly regarded for their excellent performance and reliability and are used across a
wide range of fields that are essential in our everyday lives. In the environmental and energy industry, our products are used for
solar cell manufacturing, atomic power and aerospace applications. In the electronics industry, we provide materials for various
manufacturing process such as polycrystalline silicon and single crystal silicon, white LEDs, and high-frequency device. Basic
applications of our products include industrial furnaces, continuous casting dies such as those for copper alloys, optical fibers, and
EDM electrodes for mold manufacture.
