ENGINEERING srl. Both are involved for a long time in the field of renewable sources:

Western CO products are the result of persistent and continuous investment inResearch and Development of our company which was founded in 1984.
Professionalism as well as our corporate know-how acquired over many years of experience make Western CO synonymous with reliability and competence in the field of off-grid photovoltaics.
In 2015 from the Western CO. R&D Department born Western Engineering Srl which strengthens the research of the mother company and opens the collaboration to new partnerships.
In 2017 the two entities work together on the SEMMY project (Smart Energy
ManageMent sYstem) for the exchange of energy between prosumers. This project gave birth to Westernchain, a fully automated peer-to-peer energy exchange community certified by Blockchain technology.
Western CO. today produces off-grid photovoltaic systems and is considered one of the most competent companies in the sector both in Italy and in the world.

Photovoltaic streetlamps allow to light up roads and areas far from the electricity grid, places that are noteasily accessible, such as mountain and rural areas, or parks and gardens where electrifiation has not been foreseen. If confiured correctly, they are able to guarantee total night lighting with an autonomy of 3 days in the absence of sunshine, so as to achieve the same performance as the streetlamps connected
to the public network.
ThE W-Light series has been specially designed for photovoltaic streetlamps and allows to obtain maximum effiency in terms of consumption and duration. Suitable for outdoor installations, it guarantees its operation even in places with high humidity and high temperature range (Hum: 60%;
T° -40 ÷ +57°C). Th W-Light luminaire is a professional one with LED technology that allows you to save up to 90% of energy compared to a traditional luminaire, producing the same light emission.

SSL Li Series
Photovoltaic powered streetlamp for street or parking lighting with high effiency LED luminaire and new generation lithium battery
(LiFePO4) thanks to which the SSL-Li streetlamp has a compact and pleasant design, low maintenance costs, maximum functionality,
effiency and reliability. Available in diffrent sizes of: luminaire power, battery and PV module to adapt to installationsall over the world.
Th SSL-Li streetlamp has a Western CO. SPB-LS BT charge controller with integrated Bluetooth ® remote control. Though application
on smartphone or PC, it is possible to view the operation of the entire streetlamp, in particular it allows you to:
- measure the current / voltage of the PV
module, the battery and the luminaire;
- set the luminaire ignition parameters;
- view the logger data.
Ths system facilitates the installation and control of the streetlamp, ensuring effctive and effient maintenance. On request, the streetlamp can be supplied with the SPB-LS GSM controller with 2G
modem for remote control and monitoring.

GLOBE Series
Photovoltaic powered streetlamp for lighting gardens, parks, sidewalks and cycle paths. Compact design and painted steel structure for installation
in prestigious areas. Available in two colors: white or micaceous grey. Th streetlamp uses a lead gel or LiFePO4 battery and an infrared sensor which,
by detecting the presence of people near the streetlamp, increases the brightness of the luminaire in order to improve visual comfort while keeping
energy consumption low (this functionality is not available for the Globe Entry version)

equipped with an LCD display that allows to understand in a simple and intuitive way the functioning of the system. It is the ideal solution for systems with 12V/24V/48V PV modules

Photovoltaic charge controllers with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
technology, regardless of battery voltage and charge status, always allow the
PV module to work at its maximum power point.
MPPT controllers are the effient solution for charging with both lead-acid
and lithium batteries through PV modules. Thy can meet several requirements: with both step-down and step-up controllers, user interface with display, bluetooth or IoT remote control. Thy can be used in caravans or boats or systems on small mountain huts. Thnks to the ability to make them work in parallel on the same battery become a modular solution even for large photovoltaic systems.

WRM15 dualB is a device able to charge up to two batteries from PV module. It is specially designed for application on boat or camper where there are two batteries: the fist one is for feeding the on-board services and the other for starting the engine and engine services. WRM15 dualB normally gives priority to the battery 1 (on-board services) and then manages the battery 2 (starter). Battery 2 is still constantly monitored and, if its voltage drops below a certain minimum voltage
level, it starts to charge.
WRM15 dualB is monitored through an application installed on Android/iOS smartphones that connects via Bluetooth Low Energy to the device and
allows to visualize the operating status and set
some of its functionalities

WRM20 is a complete solution for offgrid PV systems, to supply power to road signs systems, lighting systems, small low voltage systems and for
the recharge of batteries inside caravans or boats. Several programs of load management, selectable by the user, make WRM20 the complete solution in many applications i.e. to supply power to CCTV
cameras that have to work only during the day, or for blinking light systems/road signs that have to work only during the night, or to supply power to lighting systems that have to work only for a
certain number of hours during the night. A wide display shows battery voltage, PV module charging current, output load current and other parameters

WRM30+ is a PV charge controller for big offgrid systems. It is suitable for 12V/24V/48V systems with lead acid and lithium-ion batteries and it can
handle a photovoltaic power up to 1.8kW.
WRM30+ has been properly designed for industrial applications such as the power supplying of either TV/radio relays, road signs, or whole houses completely stand-alone

WMarine10 charge controller has got a buck-boost charge circuit. Th main diffrence between this controller and other types is that WMarine10
is able to enables the work of the PV module at a voltage than can be either higher or lower than that of battery. Ths allows, for example, to use a PV module with open circuit voltage of 10V to charge batteries both at 12V and 24V. PV module voltage during the operation of the MPPT circuit
goes from 5V to 40V with both 12V and 24V batteries.
WMarine10 is a complete solution for the realization of offgrid PV systems, to power supply road signs systems, lighting systems, small low voltage
systems and for the charge of batteries inside caravans and boats.



LEONARDO OFF-GRID GE Py
Off-grid lithium storage system with back-up on generator set
The Leonardo Off-Grid GE Py was designed and developed specifically for the production and storage of domestic energy; combined with photovoltaic modules and lithium storage batteries, it supplies the house with electricity until it is completely self-sustaining.

The Leonardo Off-Grid PY makes the use of energy produced by photovoltaic modules easy and immediate, for the supply of domestic users, with the aid a generator (back-up) in case of reduced renewable energy.

The system provides independent MPPT inputs via a dedicated charge controller: this technology implements a search circuit for the maximum power depending on the voltage and current of the PV module, always maximizing the energy supplied. The AC input which the system is equipped with guarantees continuity of operation of the users without perceptible discontinuities both in the case of low battery due to the reduced renewable energy available, and in case of power required by the load greater than the capacity of the appliance.

LEONARDO OFF-GRID GE

The Leonardo Off-Grid GE was designed and developed specifically for the production and storage of domestic energy; combined with photovoltaic modules and lead storage batteries, it supplies the house with power until it is completely self-sustaining.

The Leonardo Off-Grid GE makes it easy and immediate to use energy produced by photovoltaic modules, for powering domestic users, with the possibility of using a generator set (back-up) in case of reduced renewable energy.

The system provides independent MPPT inputs via a dedicated charge controller: this technology implements a search circuit for the maximum power depending on the voltage and current of the PV module, always maximizing the energy supplied. By connecting a generator to the AC input, the system guarantees the continuity of operation of the users without perceptible discontinuities in case of low battery due to the reduced renewable energy available. In fact, the generating set simultaneously manages the power supply to the loads and recharges the battery bank.
