In the heart of the Veronese countryside,
at the beginning of the 20th century, the Ferron
family took over the management of the Pila Vecia,
a factory built in 1650 and still in operation today,
starting a story of passion and dedication that has
been handed down through five generations.
The tradition of rice processing has always been
an integral part of Riseria Ferron’s identity. From
the very beginning, the mission has been to continue
the production of high quality rice, relying on
artisanal care and the careful selection of the best
lots of paddy rice.
Today, Riseria Ferron is nationally and internationally
renowned for high quality rice. The combination
of traditional techniques and modern
quality standards has made the rice varieties on
offer popular with chefs, cooking enthusiasts and
quality-conscious consumers.

VIALONE NANO RICE FERRON 1 KG.

VIALONE NANO SEMI-FINE RICE, with grains of medium
size, round and semi-long shape; the abundant release of
starch makes it ideal for the preparation of tasty risottos.
Vialone Nano is a very versatile rice and suitable for any
cooking preparation. Its resistance to cooking, flavor
and ability to absorb seasonings are enhanced, in particular,
on traditional and creamed risottos.
CLASSIC CARNAROLI RICE FERRON 1 KG.

CARNAROLI RICE, superfine rice with a large grain and
an elongated shape, with a very light colour. Carnaroli is
among the most appreciated varieties of Italian rice in
the world for its excellent resistance to cooking and its
ability to absorb aromas and condiments in an excellent
way. it maintains its consistency for a long time even
once cooked and given the high quantity of starch it is
suitable for very creamy risottos.
RICE FLOUR 1 KG.

RICE FLOUR, obtained from the fine grinding of Vialone
Nano Ferron rice, from which it inherits a sweet and delicate
flavour, harmony and great digestibility. It does not
contain gluten and therefore does not leaven. It can be used
alone or mixed with wheat or other cereal flours. It finds its
maximum expression in pastry making for the preparation
of cakes and risoni. Also excellent for puff pastry, pizza
as well as a thickener for creams, veloutés and sauces.
AROMATIC EBANO BROWN RICE 1 KG.

AROMATIC EBONY BROWN RICE An aromatic brown
black rice grown in Italy. Original not only for the color,
but also for the particular scent of sandalwood and freshly
baked bread that it releases during cooking.
With a small, aromatic and very nutritious grain; it contains,
compared to traditional varieties, a greater quantity
of proteins and minerals such as calcium, manganese,
zinc and selenium. It can be cooked in any way
and is excellent both mixed with fish and meat or any
other ingredient.
REAL RISOTTO WITH PORCINI MUSHROOMS

REAL RISOTTO WITH PORCINI MUSHROOMS, produced
in Italy, with carnaroli rice, vegetable broth, no MSG,
contains no preservatives or artificial colors.
Easy and quick to prepare. In a convenient 300gr (10,58
oz) package, you will find the portions to make a porcini
mushrooms risotto for three people. The preparation is
simple and practical.
This risotto is gluten free and vegan friendly.
