TDK WOOD DRYING KILNS
The product line BASCHILD TDK includes conventional wood drying kilns.
The TDK kilns dry all types of wood, from a thickness of 5 mm till beams, from green timber (or aired material) till 8% of moisture.
The capacity of each kiln goes from 30 m3 to 400 m3 net per cycle.
All drying kilns are custom designed according to the specific needs and the wood to be treated.
Timber is loaded frontally by a forklift.
Alternatively you can require a drying kiln with tunnel loading.
The software BASCHILD ZOOM makes the drying process fully automatic.
Drying kilns are installed outdoors by specialized technicians, in any weather condition.
ATK WOOD THERMAL MODIFICATION KILNS
The product line BASCHILD ATK includes high temperature drying kilns for wood thermal modification (thermal treatment).
The product line BASCHILD ATK includes kilns for wood thermal modification (high temperature thermal treatment).
The thermal treatment is an after drying process (dryed wood).
Wood is loaded with cart on rails.
Afterwards the control system BASCHILD ZOOM automatically manages the cycle.
The capacity of each kiln is in the range of 10 m3 – 80 m3 net per cycle.
PDK PRE-DRYING KILNS FOR WOOD
PDK is the name of BASCHILD pre-drying kilns.
PDK pre-dryers treat every type of wood essence, from an average thickness of 30 mm till beams (green timber stored).
Each kiln is specifically designed with a capacity from 300 m3 to 2.000 m3 net per cycle.
Timber is loaded frontally by forklifts.
The software BASCHILD ZOOM automatically manages the climate.
The pre-drying kilns are made for the outdoor installation, despite the weather conditions.
DVK WOOD STEAMING CHAMBERS DIRECT/INDIRECT
The BASCHILD DVK-D steaming chambers directly vaporize the wood thanks to the steam introduced into the kiln from the outside, through the duct system.
The indirect steaming chambers BASCHILD DVK-I vaporize the wood thanks to the steam produced inside the kiln through a boiling water system.
CFK COUNTERFLOW DRYING KILNS
The product line BASCHILD CFK includes continuous wood drying tunnels, counterflow specifically.
The drying concept consists of moving the wood through different climate zones. The two flow flows are opposite to each other, so that the latent heat of the outgoing wood heats the incoming wood, while the humidity of the incoming wood conditions the outgoing wood. Significant energy savings are achieved through the intertwining of air flows.
The CFK kilns dry softwood specially, from different thickness and board lenght, from green timber till 10-12% of moisture.
The productivity of each tunnel goes from 30.000 to 100.000 m3/Year.
All drying tunnels are custom designed and configured according to the specific needs and the wood to be treated.
Timber is loaded onto wagons via forklift, which moves forward automatically along the tunnel thanks to a system of pushers.
The software BASCHILD ZOOM makes the drying process fully automatic.
