JOB OPENING: Temporary assistant trade analyst
The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) Taipei Office is seeking qualified candidates for the position of assistant trade analyst for a term of 6 months, renewable.
The selected candidate will support trade analysts in accordance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.

● The hiring company: Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Taipei Office (Trade Section of the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office in Taipei - IETCPO).
● Position: Temporary assistant trade analyst (6 months, renewable).
● Contract: Through a third-party labor recruitment agency (employment insurance, health insurance, and salary managed by the labor agency).
● Location: ITA Taipei Office, Suite No. 2205, International Trade Building - 333 Keelung Rd, Section 1, Xinyi District, 110 Taipei City.
● Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break).
● Salary: NTD 42,000 gross monthly (minus mandatory deductions).
● Travel: May be required to travel occasionally.
The employer
The Italian Trade Agency – ITA is the state agency entrusted with the promotion of foreign trade and the internationalization of Italian enterprises, acting within the guidelines set by the Italian government. ITA provides information, advisory and promotional services to Italian companies to support their expansion in foreign markets.
The Taipei Office of the Italian Trade Agency operates as the Trade Section of the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office in Taipei - IETCPO, but is a different legal person – and, therefore, a different employer - from the IETCPO.

Conditions
The job position will be filled through a 6 months employment contract (renewable) through a third party labor recruitment agency. All matters related to labor insurance, health insurance, and salary disbursement shall be administered by the appointed third-party agency.
Job description and main tasks
Assist Trade Analysts in all trade-related activities, covering sectors like wine, food, fashion, cosmetics, home and lifestyle, and cultural/creative industries.
● Conduct market research and analysis on the Taiwanese market for Italian products (online, retail store visits, professional networks, consulting Taiwanese authorities like TFDA and Customs for regulations).
● Handle reporting and database management: compile reports and update databases of Taiwanese trade contacts and new business leads.
● Assist in event planning and coordination in Taiwan (exhibitions, fairs, cultural events), coordinating with suppliers (hotels, PR agencies, etc.).
● Engage in relations and cooperation with Taiwanese traders: invite traders to international events (assisting with travel) and gather feedback.
● Communicate with Italian companies: answer their questions about the Taiwanese market (regulations, opportunities) and help them find partners and support meetings/negotiations.

● R.O.C. (Taiwan) citizenship or Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (for non-Taiwanese citizens)
● Be a R.O.C. (Taiwan) resident for tax purposes
● Bachelor’s degree
● Proficiency in Mandarin, written and oral (level C2)
● Proficiency in English or Italian, written and oral (level B2) - preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in Italian
● Proficiency in MS Office
● Not being convicted of any criminal offense and not having any pending or previous criminal proceedings in R.O.C. (Taiwan) or other countries

Selection process
Qualified candidates will be invited to attend an interview to assess their proficiency levels
The interview will take place at the Taipei Office of the Italian Trade Agency - located at Suite 2204, International Trade Building - 333 Keelung Rd, Section 1, Xinyi District, 110 Taipei City on appointment.
The selection will be carried out by the office’s Director.
Employment contract signing
The selected candidate will be employed by a third party working agency appointed by the Taipei Office of the Italian Trade Agency, therefore there will be no employment relationship between the winning candidate and either the Taipei Office of the Italian Trade Agency or the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office in Taipei

工作內容
- 協助貿易分析師處理各項與貿易相關的業務,涵蓋葡萄酒、食品、時尚、美妝、家居生活以及文化創意等產業。
- 針對義大利產品在台灣市場進行市場調查與分析(包括線上資料、實體店訪查、專業人脈交流,並諮詢台灣相關主管機關如 TFDA 與海關的法規資訊)。
- 負責報告與資料庫管理:撰寫報告並更新台灣貿易聯絡人與商機資料庫。
- 協助在台活動的籌劃與協調(展覽、博覽會、文化活動),與供應商(如飯店、公關公司等)溝通合作。
- 維繫與台灣業者的合作關係:邀請業者參加國際活動(並協助安排出行)及蒐集意見回饋。
- 與義大利企業溝通:回答其關於台灣市場(法規、商機等)的提問,協助尋找合作夥伴並支持會議與談判。
應徵資格
不符合以下任何一項資格者將不予受理:
- 中華民國(台灣)國籍或持有外僑永久居留證(非台灣籍者)。
- 稅務居住地為中華民國(台灣)。
- 具學士學位。
- 中文聽說讀寫達 C2 等級。
- 英文或義大利文聽說讀寫達 B2 等級(優先考慮精通義大利文者)。
- 熟練操作 MS Office。
- 無任何刑事犯罪紀錄,且在台灣或其他國家均無未決或既往刑事案件。
