The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is the Italian government agency that promotes Made in Italy products in the U.S. market, supports the growth of Italian companies and helps attract foreign investment to Italy. As part of the Italian public administration, ITA buys goods and services under the Italian Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree No. 36/2023).

ITA keeps two registers of vendors. We encourage you to join both.

• Traspare, for calls for tender and larger procurements run by ITA.
• The ICE New York vendor register, for smaller purchases made by the New York office, below the thresholds set by the Procurement Code.

Register on Traspare

Traspare is ITA's certified eProcurement platform. Registration is free and open all year. Go to https://ice.traspare.com, open the REGISTER OF SUPPLIERS section, read the Registration Regulations and complete the online form.

Join the ICE New York vendor register

Before you start, please have the following ready:

• Your company's legal name, tax ID (EIN, or VAT number for EU companies) and registered address.
• A phone number, and an email address that can receive our reply and send us your W-9.
• The sector that best matches your business, and a short description of what you offer.
• The name and title of a person authorized to sign declarations on behalf of the company.
• Your current IRS Form W-9, as a PDF.

What happens next:

1. You complete the form, including ten declarations of good standing that you sign electronically.
2. You receive a confirmation email from vendordocsnyc@ice.it with a record of your declarations.
3. You reply to that email with your W-9 in PDF format. We review your registration only after we receive it.
4. Once approved, your company appears in our list of registered vendors and may be invited to submit quotations.

Registration is free. It does not guarantee a contract, and it does not replace registration on Traspare for calls for tender.
