The Italian Trade Agency in Canada organized a trade mission to attend two international trade shows in Italy: B2CHEESE and TERRA MADRE SALONE DEL GUSTO from September 24th to 30th 2024 in Bergamo (Lombardia) and Torino (Piemonte). 

B2Cheese 2024 is a unique trade show exclusively designed for business operators in the dairy industry. It combines business, education, and culture into an innovative exhibition in the center of Bergamo, attracting manufacturers and buyers from over 40 countries to its 173,000 square meters of fairground.

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2024 is the flagship event organized by Slow Food, taking place in Torino. The trade show will gather over 3,000 delegates and activists from more than 120 countries. The theme for this year is agroecology, focusing on sustainable and regenerative food systems. Our delegates will explore a vibrant market, street kitchens, food trucks, wine bars, and craft breweries, all while engaging in discussions and activities that shape the future of food.

ITA Canada lead a delegation of 9 executives of companies operating in the food sector from across the Country. Amongst them, companies operating in the HORECA of the Greater Toronto Area and the city of Montreal. Over 100 b2b meetings were executed during the 5 day mission, between the Canadian companies and the Italian exhibitors.
