From 15 to 17 March 2026, ITA – Italian Trade Agency presents the world of Italian wine at ProWein 2026, the leading international trade fair for wines and spirits. Trade visitors from wine retail, gastronomy, horeca and media can discover a comprehensive programme of free wine tasting, professional masterclasses and guided tours to Italian exhibitors.

Free Wine Tasting: TOP 100 Italian Wines
ITA stand – Hall 3, stand G70

Throughout all three days of ProWein 2026, international trade visitors and wine professionals are invited to taste Meininger’s Top 100 Italian Wines free of charge. The wines were selected in December 2025 by renowned sommeliers from Meininger Publishing House. The ranking features the best, outstanding white, red, rosé and sparkling wines from participating producers across all Italian wine regions – from the north to the islands.


Masterclasses at ProWein 2026

11 professional seminars | ITA stand – Hall 3, stand F60

ITA offers 11 in-depth masterclasses focusing on:

  • Wines from Meininger’s TOP 100 Italy
  • Selected Italian appellations and consortia
  • Food & wine pairing and regional wine styles

The interactive seminars are aimed at wine buyers, sommeliers, restaurateurs and journalists, providing expert insights into Italy’s diverse wine landscape.

Während der gesamten Messedauer stehen Fachbesucher:innen die Meininger TOP 100 Italienweine zur freien Verkostung zur Verfügung. Die Auswahl wurde im Dezember 2025 von renommierten Sommeliers des Meininger Fachverlages getroffen und umfasst die besten Weiß-, Rot-, Rosé- und Schaumweine der teilnehmenden Produzenten aus allen italienischen Weinregionen – vom Norden bis zu den Inseln.
