TIFF 2023 - ITALIAN FILM DISTRIBUTION FUND

FILM DISTRIBUTION FUND

ABOUT THE EVENT

ICE Toronto presents the 2023 Film Distribution Fund at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). This distinguished event on September 13th, 2023, invites distributors of Italian films and documentaries to indulge in an authentic Italian breakfast experience while exploring exciting opportunities in film distribution.
Renowned Senior Advisor Roberto Stabile and Audiovisual Specialist Benedetta Marassi at the Italian Trade Commission will meet one-on-one with the interested distributors and introduce them to the renewed Film Distribution Fund, endorsed by the Ministry of Culture (MiC) for 2023. The fund establishes €2,100,000.00 (nearly twice as much as in the previous year) to support the theatrical and Internet distribution of Italian films abroad, with a maximum cap of €50,000.00 per film per country for theatrical distribution, and €15,000 for Internet distribution.
The focus of the event remains solely on distribution, setting the stage for a dynamic B2B breakfast that offers more than just networking. Roberto Stabile will be there to provide distributors with personalized Q&A sessions regarding the fund, providing an exclusive environment for private face-to-face discussions.

This is an occasion for distributors to gain valuable insights about the renewed fund, and forge potentially transformative business relationships.
