Vinitaly Verona (April 2nd to the 5th 2023), the largest wine exhibition in the world, on this 55th edition counted more than 4,000 exhibitors (coming from more than 30 countries) and 93,000 visitors (29,600 international). Growth compared to the last edition was almost entirely thanks to international buyers (about +20%) from 143 countries, this year representing one-third of total accredited delegates. This figure includes more than one thousand top buyers selected and hosted by Veronafiere and ICE-Trade Agency. Canada was among the top five countries of origin of attendance (+19%).

The Canadian Delegation was the largest international delegation at Vinitaly with 58 buyers. Vinitaly welcomed delegates from 3 Canadian Liquor Boards (LCBO – Liquor Control Board of Ontario, SAQ – Société des alcools du Québec, ANBL - Alcool NB Liquor) and 30 wine agents, which had the unique opportunity to taste new products and increase their portfolio by scheduling more than 500 b2b meetings.

The next Vinitaly is scheduled for 14-17 April 2024.
