The Italian Trade Agency-ITA will be present in the dedicated “Spazio Italia” (Stand no. 90) at IHIF - the International Hospitality Investment Forum in Berlin from March 23rd to 25th, in collaboration with  the Associazione Italiana Confindustria Alberghi (AICA) and Invitalia.  IHIF is considered one of the most influential meeting platforms for hospitality investors.

In 2024, hotel investments in Italy reached approximately €2.1 billion, with a strong presence of international capital in the sector. Foreign investors account for roughly two-thirds of commercial real estate investment activity in Italy, highlighting the country’s attractiveness to global capital. Italy offers a structured framework of incentives for tourism investments, including grants, subsidized financing and tax credits available at national and regional levels.

The Italian Trade Agency-ITA is the Governmental Agency that supports the business development of Italian companies abroad and promotes the attraction of foreign investment in Italy. Through its Foreign Direct Investment Department and its Invest in Italy program, ITA offers support to international investors, helping them in identifying opportunities, accessing incentives and coordinating with local institutions.

Invitalia is the National Agency for Investment and Enterprise Development in Italy, wholly owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. It acts as a strategic partner for businesses and public administrations, supporting economic growth and enhancing the country's competitiveness.

Associazione Italiana Confindustria Alberghi (AICA) represents independent properties and hotel chains operating in Italy. It is focused on developing the future of the Italian accommodation industry. Knowing the importance of tourism in the country’s economy the association is in-between institutions and stakeholders to drive changes and build solid sector policies.
