The Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, returns to GITEX Europe 2026 with its largest delegation yet.

Following the successful debut at the inaugural edition, Italy doubles its presence in Berlin, showcasing 25 innovative startups selected from some of the country's most dynamic and fast-growing technology sectors.

From Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity to Deep Tech, Fintech, Smart Mobility, Industry 4.0, Digital Identity, Data Management, Sustainability and Health Tech, the Italian delegation offers a comprehensive overview of the innovation driving the future of European industry and society.

Visitors can meet the startups at Stand B60 in Hall 4.2, while the Institutional Island 07 will serve as a meeting point for investors, corporates, innovation stakeholders and ecosystem partners interested in exploring collaboration opportunities with Italy's innovation ecosystem.

Kick-off Event at the Embassy of Italy in Berlin

The Italian participation at GITEX Europe 2026 was officially launched on 29 June with the event:

"Italy Meets Berlin: Building Deep Tech for Europe"

Hosted at the Embassy of Italy in Berlin, the event brought together startups, investors, corporates, institutions and innovation leaders from across Europe to discuss the future of Deep Tech, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and industrial innovation.

The initiative reinforced Italy's role as a growing innovation hub and created valuable connections ahead of the opening of GITEX Europe.

Nach dem erfolgreichen Debüt bei der ersten Ausgabe von GITEX Europe kehrt Italien 2026 mit seiner bislang größten Delegation nach Berlin zurück.

Die Italian Trade Agency (ITA) präsentiert gemeinsam mit dem italienischen Ministerium für auswärtige Angelegenheiten und internationale Zusammenarbeit insgesamt 25 innovative italienische Start-ups – mehr als doppelt so viele wie im Vorjahr.

Die teilnehmenden Unternehmen repräsentieren die Dynamik und Innovationskraft des italienischen Technologie-Ökosystems und entwickeln Lösungen in strategischen Zukunftsbereichen wie Künstliche Intelligenz, Cybersecurity, Deep Tech, FinTech, Blockchain, Industry 4.0, Smart Mobility, Health Tech, Internet of Things (IoT), Datenmanagement, digitale Identität, Nachhaltigkeit und digitale Transformation.

Besucherinnen und Besucher haben die Möglichkeit, die Start-ups am Stand B60 in Halle 4.2 kennenzulernen. Die ITA Desk am Stand 07 dient als zentraler Treffpunkt für Investoren, Unternehmen, Innovationsakteure und Institutionen, die mehr über das italienische Innovationsökosystem und Kooperationsmöglichkeiten erfahren möchten.

Die italienische Beteiligung an der GITEX Europe 2026 wurde bereits am 29. Juni mit der Veranstaltung

"Italy Meets Berlin: Building Deep Tech for Europe"

in der Italienischen Botschaft in Berlin eröffnet.

Die Veranstaltung brachte italienische Start-ups, internationale Investoren, Unternehmen, institutionelle Vertreter und Akteure des europäischen Innovationsökosystems zusammen, um über die Zukunft von Deep Tech, Künstlicher Intelligenz, Cybersecurity und industrieller Innovation zu diskutieren.

Damit wurde ein wichtiger Rahmen für Austausch, Vernetzung und neue Kooperationen geschaffen und die Sichtbarkeit der italienischen Innovationslandschaft auf europäischer Ebene weiter gestärkt.
