Interjet announced a 38% increase in passengers in the first quarter of 2018, with a total of 821,126,000 passengers transported in its international operations. For domestic flights, the increase was 9.1%, with 2,356,979 passengers. This means that the airline transported a total of 3,188,000 passengers, representing an overall increase of 15.7% compared to the first quarter of 2017. The Mexican airline also announced that, during the period, the number of seats grew by 10.3%, and the occupancy rate reached 79%, which is an increase of 5.8%. The growth can be attributed to the airline's renewed commercial strategy, as well as the optimization and improved control over its operations. (ICE CITTÀ DEL MESSICO)
