GHANA’S PUBLIC PURSE HAS BEEN SAVED 910.4 MILLION GH CEDIS

According to the press, the measures taken by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) within a year, have saved the nation 910.4 million GH cedis. Some of the measures which helped to curb the illegal activities in the downstream sector include the designation of one exit border for all petroleum products exported to Mali and Burkina Faso; no haulage of petroleum products to Togo except liquefied petroleum gas. These measures have been able to reduce the 50 million liters of petroleum products which were allegedly exported monthly through illegal activities to 2 million liters a month. (ICE ACCRA)
