SRI LANKAN GOVT EXPENDITURE REACHED 7.6 billion euros from January-September 2018

According to data released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Government’s recurring expenditure during the first nine months of 2018 reached 7.6 billion euros, representing nearly 74 per cent of the target set for the year, up by 10 per cent compared to 6.6 billion euros spent during the same period 2017. According to the analysts, spending on capital and net lending has reached 2.21 million euros during the first nine months,representing 59 per cent of the target for this year (ICE NEW DELHI)
