“ITALIANS” TAKE PART IN THE INVESTMENTS IN IRBID

Greater Irbid Municipality discussed with the Italian Municipality of San Donato the possibility of the investment from the part of Italians in these projects. The mayor of the Greater Municipality of Irbid Eng. Hussein Bani Hani, presented at the president of the Municipality of San Donato Andrea Checchi, in the presence of the Jordanian Honorary Council in Milan Mr. Khaled Al-Wahsheh, and the member of the municipal council the Jordanian Muntaha Al-Wahsheh the listed projects on the municipality’s agenda, like the Regional Market for fruits and vegetables, Poultry slaughterhouse, solar farm, waste recycling station,  and the downtown development project, in addition to the cultural, civilized, and recreational projects related to the downtown development project, and other fields of joint cooperation. Bani Hani said that the Municipality is counting on attracting local and foreign investors to accomplish their ambitious projects, and localize the investment in Irbid. He pointed out that the Municipality is based on achievements that enables it to build on to continue the efforts of development, modernization, and providing an infrastructure of services capable of providing optimal service to the resident, visitor, and investor alike. From his part, Checchi expressed the readiness of the Municipality of San Donato to study the possibility of cooperation with the Greater Irbid Municipality in various fields that would strengthen the relations between the two parties. He also said that he will communicate with the Italian investment companies, and inform them of the investment opportunities available in the projects presented by the mayor of Irbid, especially the Italian company Enel, one of the largest investment companies in the world. After the meeting, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement that provides a framework for enhancing mutual understanding, friendship, and benefit, which ultimately serves the population.
