Zarubezhneft looking into entering three projects in KazakhstanRussian oil company Zarubezhneft is considering three joint projects with KazMunayGaz in Kazakhstan."We are looking at two clusters in Southeast Asia. One cluster is CIS countries - Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, where we plan to expand. We have good relations with our colleagues from Uzbekneftegaz. The meetings at the economic forum in St. Petersburg went very well; we are considering three joint projects together with KazMunayGaz. Hopefully, we will soon be working there too," Zarubezhneft head Sergei Kudryashov said in an interview on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.The company currently has no assets in Kazakhstan.Zarubezhneft and Uzbekneftegaz created a JV earlier - LLC Andijanpetro, which develops three oil fields: South Alamyshik, Khartum, and East Khartum in the Fergana Valley.
