Absence of new large-scale projects is one of risks for Kazakh oil sector - S&PStandard & Poor's  ( S&P)  has identified six risks for Kazakhstan’s oil sector, the rating agency said in its presentation.According to S&P, the 1st risk is a possible increase in the tax burden on the sector. Another risk is the absence of large-scale projects after the Kashagan and Tengiz projects. The 3rd risk is the production high cost given  more complex geological conditions. The 4th one is the high debt burden of KazMunayGas and Tengizchevroil compared with other national oil companies. The 5th risk is growing regulatory pressure and supervision over carbon producing activities and the 6th risk is that international companies are lossing interest in projects in emerging markets.
