Homegrown lifestyle tech brand Noise launched its first pair of smart eyewear 'i1' at Rs 5,999 with features such as Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMS) mic for calling, magnetic charging, hands-free voice control, and more.Developed under Noise Labs, the smart sunglass comes with UVA/B 99 per cent protection lenses. It is also made of blue light filtering transparent lenses that can reduce eye strain when used for long hours in front of the screen. The interchangeable lenses come in round and square shapes.On the Noise website (, the term and conditions mentioned below suggest that the discount is valid for a limited period and prices may change without prior notice. The current price offered is after a discount of 53 per cent from the original tag of Rs 12,999.The company claims that the device's revolutionary design reduces surrounding sound and lets the audio flow to the user's ears for an immersive acoustic experience. The glasses can be operated with the multi-functional touch controls such as controlling the volume, accepting or rejecting calls, changing tracks, and accessing their voice assistant, among other features.The 47-gram eyewear comes with an individual mic in each temple. It is compatible with Android and iOS.The stylish sunglasses also come with Instacharge - which means a 15-minute charge can give up to 120 minutes of playtime. The company claims a nine-hour playback time. However, it is dependent on the audio played at 70 per cent volume after a full charge.The Made-In-India eyewear makes it easy to set alarms, make calls, do searches and more, with voice commands which support Siri and Google Assistant.The device can handle accidental splashes.
