BOSNIA ERZEGOVINA: BOSNIA’S RAFINERIJA NAFTE BROD PLANS TO BUILD 150 MLN EURO GAS-FIRED THERMAL POWER PLANT

Bosnian oil refinery Rafinerija Nafte Brod [BANJ:RNAF-R-A] intends to build a 100 MW gas-fired thermal power plant in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic, an investment valued at 150 million euro ($152.9 million), the entity's government said.The company is currently carrying out a feasibility study for the project and plans to submit a request for a concession after the study is completed, the Serb Republic's government said in a statement on Thursday.  The entity's government has approved an agreement for cooperation with the company on the project, it said.  Rafinerija Nafte's shares last traded on the BLSE on July 7, when they closed flat at 0.011 marka ($0.0052/0.0051 euro).Rafinerija Nafte, based in Brod in the northwestern part of the Serb Republic, is majority-owned by Russia's NeftegasInCor.  The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
