MORE CHANGES TO COME FOR KLARNA AFTER RESTRUCTURING ANNOUNCEMENT

According to Dagens Nyheter reports, the CEO of Klarna, the buy-now pay-later service giant, announced further cuts to its workforce. Currently, the largest Swedish workers’ union Unionen is gathering around 900 members from Klarna. The Union wants to push for a collective agreement form of employment from the company and for employees to have more say in the workplace. Dagens industri also reports on a financial restructuring within the company, writing that Klarna is considering selling off loans. In a move that is common on the housing market, Klarna is apparently moving to repackage outstanding credits to sell to investors. In a letter in which Dagens industri had an insight, Klarna has written that they are investigating the possibility of “risk sharing with external investors.” (ICE STOCCOLMA)
