PALESTINE BALANCE OF TRADE
Palestine's trade deficit widened to USD 584 million in September from USD 400 million in the same month of the previous year. This was the largest trade gap since March. Imports increased 39 percent to USD 712.1 million, with purchases from Israel accounting for 61 percent of total imports. Meantime, exports rose 14 percent to USD 128.1 million. Sales to Israel represented 94 percent of total exports. Considering the third quarter of 2022, the trade deficit widened to USD 1721 billion from USD 1219 billion in the same period of 2021 (ICE AMMAN)
