The woodworking company Kronus has opened a new metalworking plant in Riga, after deciding on the project six months ago. The company plans to deliver its first order by the end of 2022. The new plant will create around 25 jobs. Kronus is a woodworking company, founded in 1995, specialized in producing wood packaging – pallet and pallet edges, horticulture products, and wooden garden houses. The company's major export markets are Germany, Sweden, and Asian countries. As a result of the sanctions against Russian companies, Kornus had to seek a new solution for their metal supply and decided on investing in a new metalworking plant.  (ICE STOCCOLMA)
