The negotiations between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of China Xi Jinping in Beijing on Friday resulted in the signing of a package of bilateral documents.The meeting, held within the framework of Turkmen President’s two-day state visit to China, discussed the further development of strategic ties between Turkmenistan and China. The sides particularly discussed the deepening of cooperation in trade-economic sphere, the fuel-energy sector, the chemical industry, transport, communications and agriculture, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as strengthening of parliamentary ties.During the documents signing ceremony held following the talks, the Leaders of the countries signed the Joint Statement between Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China, the official Turkmen media reports.
