Solidarity Transport Hub (CPK) has entered into a preliminary agreement with Towarzystwo Finansowe Silesia for the acquisition of 8,728,600 shares, representing 38% of the share capital, in Torpol, which provides comprehensive services in the scope of construction and modernisation of railway stations, tracks and lines. Currently 10.41% of Torpol shares are held by Nationale Nederlanden OFE and 8.79% by PKO TFI S.A., with 42.8% of shares held by other shareholders. According to CPK, the deal has a number of benefits, including the mitigation of risk of no access to the necessary resources for the implementation of the airport project. The deal will also allow the parties to adjust the division of the investment risk between the contracting authority and the general contractor.  (ICE VARSAVIA)
