In December, the turnover of retail trade enterprises decreased by 3.3 per cent, that of food and beverage service enterprises – by 2.3 per cent.Based on provisional data, in December 2022, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises amounted to EUR 1 billion 706 million at current prices, and against November 2022, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 3.3 per cent at constant prices.Over the month, the turnover of enterprises trading in food products, seasonally and calendar adjusted, decreased by 2.1 per cent, of those trading in non-food products – by 6.9 per cent, of those engaged in retail trade of automotive fuel increased by 2 per cent at constant prices.In December 2022, against December 2021, the turnover (VAT excluded) of retail trade enterprises, calendar adjusted, decreased by 6.2 per cent at constant prices. The turnover of enterprises trading in food products decreased by 10.2, of those trading in non-food products – by 11 per cent, of those engaged in retail trade of automotive fuel increased by 13.8 per cent at constant prices.
