NEOM TO AWARD SINDALAH RESORT CONTRACT IN Q4

Neom is expected to award the contract in Q4 this year to build the Luxury South Resort assets on cluster five of Sindalah Island. The contract scope involves constructing a Four Seasons resort with 225 guest rooms and suites, 52 one- to four-bedroom villas and associated infrastructure works. The tender was issued on 7 June and the deadline for bid submissions is 7 September. Italy’s Luca Dini Design & Architecture lead the resort's architectural design. Barcelona-headquartered Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura is designing the interiors for the guest rooms and UAE-based LW Design is carrying out the design of public areas. In July,  Neom re-issued the tender for a contract to build the project on Sindalah Island. Neom previously invited contractors to bid for the project in July and December last year. Sindalah project Extending over an area of about 840,000 square metres (sq m), Sindalah is situated 5 kilometres from the mainland in the Red Sea. The island is designed as an ultra-luxury destination and will be the first of a group of islands to be developed at Neom, each with its own purpose and design. It will feature three hotels developed under two brands, Marriott and Four Seasons, with 413 keys, 88 villas and 333 serviced apartments. Sindalah will also feature an 86-berth marina for yachts up to 50 metres and 75 offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 metres.
