Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani has inaugurated a joint management program for modern hospitals at Najaf Ashraf Educational Hospital.This initiative, in collaboration with Italy's Gruppo Ospedaliero San Donato (San Donato Hospital Group), aims to reduce the need for Iraqis to seek medical treatment abroad and save substantial costs. The program will be implemented in six provinces: Najaf, Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar, Karbala, and Babil.San Donato signed a multi-year management contract for the Najaf facility in January.Al-Sudani inspected the program's implementation and the hospital's treatment processes, highlighting the rigorous vetting of participating companies.He expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Health's efforts in improving medical supplies and equipment. The new management approach is expected to enhance the expertise of Iraqi medical staff and provide better healthcare services. (ICE AMMAN)
