Safran annuncia costruzione di nuovo impianto nello stato di ChihuahuaSafran announced the opening of a new plant in the municipality of Chihuahua, which has required an investment of 6 million euros, and will generate more than 225 direct jobs and 67 indirect jobs.The project was announced during the Farnborough International Airshow 2024. The new plant, dedicated to the production of aerospace components, will begin operations in 2025, and is located in the Supra Industrial Park operated by Safran Aerosystems.The Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development of Chihuahua (SIDE) highlighted that the inauguration represents a significant step in the company's commitment to job creation in the state, since with this construction, Safran will have 12 plants in the city of Chihuahua, which currently employ around 8,000 collaborators, more than half of the Safran Group's employees in the country.
