INDONESIA SIGNS STEM CELL COOPERATION WITH 2 ITALIAN UNIVERSITIES
The Indonesian medical world has made a breakthrough in the stem cell field by building a collaboration with 2 major universities in Italy: Università degli Studi "G.d'Annunzio" CHIETI-Pescara Italy and Leonardo Da Vinci University Rome. This MoU covers innovative research in the field of stem cells, organ printing technology, and genetic therapy and the signing ceremony was attended by a number of leading figures in the stem cell field. Among them, Prof. Dr. Svetlana Trofimova, Secretary General of WOCPM Paris, Prof. Liborio Stupia, Rector of Danuncio University of Chieti, and Prof. Sergio Caputi, Rector of Leonardo Da Vinci University Rome. Prof. Deby was accompanied by a team of experts such as Prof. Bruna Sinjari, Prof. Alexander Trofimov, Prof. Vincenzo De Laurenzi, and Nancy Pada, SE, Director of PR Celltech Vinski Tower International. In Indonesia, Prof. Deby already has an accredited organ printing laboratory and is the Asia Pacific Center of Excellence for stem cell validation. This lab is recognized by Bechten Dickinson USA.
