Kazakhstan boosted oil supply to Germany 61% in Jan-Nov to 1.358 mln tonnesKazTransOil JSC (KTO) delivered 1.358 million tonnes of oil in January-November of this year to Adamowo-Zastawa, an oil delivery point in Poland near the Belarussian border, for further transportation to Germany, KTO said in a Friday press release."In January-November 2024, KazTransOil JSC exported 1.358 million tonnes of oil through the Ozen-Atyrau-Samara pipeline and Transneft pipeline system to Adamowo-Zastawa for further transportation to Germany," the press release says.In the same period of 2023, transportation of Kazakh oil along this route amounted to 843,000 tonnes, so the volume of exported oil this year rose by 61%, the company said.In December 2024, KazTransOil plans to export 130,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil along this route for Germany.It was reported earlier that Kazakhstan expected to deliver about 1.4 million tonnes of oil to Germany in the twelve months of 2024.In 2023 Kazakhstan started to ship oil to Germany via the Transneft pipeline system towards the Adamowo-Zastawa oil delivery point. The republic delivered a total of 993,000 tonnes in the twelve months of 2023, using crude oil from Karachaganak Petroleum Operating.President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said earlier that Kazakhstan was ready to expand its exports to the German market, and Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev said that Germany had asked Kazakhstan to increase oil exports from today’s 1.2 million to 2.5 million tonnes a year.
