THE Philippines has affirmed its status as a prime tourist destination in Asia with multiple nominations at the 2025 World Travel Awards. The Philippines was set to defend its titles in three key categories: Asia's Leading Beach Destination, Asia's Leading Dive Destination, and Asia's Leading Island Destination. Meanwhile, Boracay was nominated for Asia's Leading Luxury Island Destination, Intramuros for Asia's Leading Tourist Attraction, and Cebu for Asia's Leading Wedding Destination.
