Kazakhstan's National Bank improves 2026 GDP growth forecast to 4.5-5.5%Kazakhstan's National Bank has revised its 2026 GDP growth forecast upward to 4.5-5.5%, the regulator said Friday."The revision reflects stronger-than-expected economic activity and improved oil price assumptions," the bank said in a statement.The bank had previously expected GDP growth of 3.5-4.5% for 2026."For 2027 and 2028, the bank expects growth to settle at 3.5-4.5%, with the economy expanding under more balanced domestic demand and lower oil prices," it said.Kazakhstan's GDP grew 6.5% last year, up from 4.8% in 2024, according to the Economy Ministry.
