Samruk-Kazyna forecasts its 2023 net earnings at 1.9 trillion tengeNational Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna expects to earn 1.939 trillion tenge in net profit in 2023."Net profit in 2023 is expected to reach 1.939 trillion tenge, while revenues and EBITDA  are projected to amount to 16.460 trillion tenge, and 4.474 trillion tenge," Samruk-Kazyna CEO Nurlan Zhakupov was quted as saying in the press release.In January-May, the company's net profit amounted to 988 billion tenge, revenue stood at 6.077 trillion tenge, EBITDA was 1.910 trillion tenge.In 2022, Samruk-Kazyna earned 1.922 trillion tenge, an increase of 18%. In 2021, the state fund received 1.629 trillion tenge of net profit. Revenue increased by 26.2% to 14.785 trillion tenge, EBITDA rose by 17.3%, to 4.690 trillion tenge in 2022.Samruk-Energy JSC, organized in 2007, is solely owned by Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC. The company specializes in generation, distribution and sales of electricity and heat as well as coal production. Samruk-Energy owns Ekibastuz GRES-1 LLP, Ekibastuz GRES-2 JSC, Bogatyr-Komir LLP, Almaty Power Plants JSC, Moinak GES JSC, Shardara GES JSC and others. (ICE ALMATY)
