It includes small hydropower, wind energy, solar energy, geothermal energy, tidal power plants, biofuel production. EAEU countries are recommended to take into account a compiled list of manufacturers of components for systems based on renewable energy sources, posted on the official website of the Union,” the message says.It is reported that the EAEU countries “are invited to facilitate the participation of manufacturers of systems based on renewable energy sources in cooperation and technological chains to organize the production of economically competitive equipment (including fundamentally new power plants) with the maximum possible localization of production.”The implementation of the recommendations of the EEC Board, the press service emphasized, will make it possible to systematize measures for the development of industrial cooperation between the EAEU countries in this area and will complement the already existing mechanisms of regulatory support for the development of renewable energy.
