EAEU intends to simplify registration of veterinary medicinal products - EECSimplification of the registration dossier procedure is planned for six groups of veterinary medicinal products, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission reported on Thursday.“On March 13, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the draft decision of the EEC Council On amendments to the Rules for regulating the circulation of veterinary medicinal products in the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union,” the message says.The EEC noted that “these changes involve simplifying the procedure for bringing the registration dossier for six groups of veterinary medicinal products into compliance with the new requirements. They include vitamins, antiparasitic drugs for non-productive animals, herbal drugs, antiseptic drugs, as well as drugs, intended to restore the water-electrolyte balance in the body of animals and preparations containing minerals as active ingredients."They explained that if previously the registration dossier of veterinary drugs of these groups had to be brought into compliance with the new requirements of each EAEU member state.“The implementation of the changes will reduce the financial burden on manufacturers of the listed veterinary drugs, and therefore reduce thecost of these veterinary drugs. In addition, the administrative burden of the authorized bodies of the Union countries will be reduced,” the EEC emphasized. (ICE ALMATY)
