At the end of March 2024, there were ca. 62,700 full electric vehicles as well as 201 fuel cell electric vehicles in the statistics of the Central Vehicles and Drivers Register (CEPiK). The EV charging infrastructure is expanding rapidly as at the end of March there were 6,500 public charging points, of which 4,690 were AC charging points, 30 percent more y/y, and 1,810 were DC fast chargers, 60 percent more y/y.
