In January-February 2024, Ukraine's foreign trade turnover increased by 1.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. Exports increased by 5.0%, reaching USD 6.8 billion, while imports decreased by 1.4%, amounting to USD 10.0 billion. The volume of foreign trade with Italy also increased, both in terms of imports to Ukraine (+13.0%) and Ukrainian exports to Italy (+44.5%). Italy ranks eighth as a customer of Ukraine, following Poland, Spain, China, Turkey, Romania, Germany, and Egypt, and seventh as a supplier, following China, Poland, Germany, Turkey, the United States, and Greece.
