KazTransOil boosts oil transportation through main pipeline system by 10% in Q1 2024KazTransOil JSC boosted oil transportation through the main oil pipeline system 10% year-over-year to 11.379 million tonnes, the company’s press service reported.The volume of oil transportation to oil refineries of Kazakhstan through the KazTransOil main oil pipeline system grew 0.6% year-over -year to 4.327 million tonnes.During the specified period, 1.414 million tonnes of oil were supplied to Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP, 1.360 million tonnes to PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP (Shymkent Refinery), 1.458 million tonnes to Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant LLP, and 95,000 tonnes to JV CASPI BITUM LLP.The volume of oil transportation along the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline grew 4.4% year-over-year to 2.514 million tonnes.The section of the TON-2 oil pipeline on the territory of Kazakhstan transported 2.876 million tonnes of oil, a 7.5% increase year-over-year.2.775 million tonnes of oil were transshipped into the Atasu - Alashankou main oil pipeline, a 0.4% increase year-over year.The volume of oil transshipment into the system of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K JSC surged by 110% to 1.121 million tonnes.Loading of oil into tankers in the port of Aktau using KazTransOil’s facilities went up 25.1 % year-over year and amounted to 856,000 tonnes.Oil turnover separately through the KazTransOil main oil pipeline system grew 4.6% year-over-year to 8.691 billion tonne-kilometers.The oil pipeline system of Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP transported 4.768 million tonnes of oil, which is a 2.6% increase year-over year.Freight turnover surged by 11.6% to 4.243 billion tonne-kilometers.The volume of oil transportation through the oil pipeline of MunaiTas LLP grew by 6.2% to 1.473 million tonnes.The volume of transshipment of oil, petroleum products and gas for Batumi Oil Terminal LLC and Petrotrans Limited was boosted by 18.4% to 456,000 tonnes during the reporting periodThe consolidated oil turnover of KazTransOil went up 4% to 11.121 billion tonne-kilometers.Magistralny Vodovod LLP supplied 5.926 million cubic meters of fresh water to consumers in the Atyrau and Mangistau regions of Kazakhstan via the Astrakhan-Mangyshlak water pipeline. The decrease in the volume of water supply amounted to 735,000 cubic meters year-over year.KazTransOil, part of National Company KazMunayGas, is the national operator of oil pipelines in Kazakhstan.
