Transport Logistic, from 2 to 5 June 2025 at Munich Messe, is the leading international trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management, attracting a large number of international visitors at each edition.

The trade fair is organised on a total exhibition area of around 77,844 square metres. In the last edition there were 2,320 exhibitors (154 Italian) and a total number of 75,649 visitors (37,094 local and 38,555 foreign).

ITA – Italian Trade & Investment Agency will be present with an Info & Investment Desk in hall B3 stand 216, carrying out activities to attract foreign investments to Italy, in cooperation with the association Assoporti and Invitalia, with a special focus on the Italian offer in the logistics and transport sector.

Germany is the second largest logistics sector in the world, after the United States. This sector accounts for around 8-9% of Germany's GDP and employs 3 million people.

Characterised by a strong infrastructure network (motorways, railways, ports, airports), the key logistics hubs are Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich.

In 2024, the logistics space market in Germany experienced a significant decline, with a transaction volume of 5.47 million m², the lowest in the last ten years. This represents a decrease of 12% compared to the previous year and 26% compared to the five-year average. Demand was mainly driven by companies in the transport and logistics sector, although these also showed a decline of 32% compared to 2023.

In 2025, Germany's logistics sector is characterized by a blend of innovation, sustainability efforts, and strategic investments, all while facing several challenges related to labour shortages, cybersecurity and regulatory changes.

In 2024, Italy’s logistics sector attracted significant foreign investments, confirming the country’s status as a strategic logistics hub in Europe:

• Total investment: investments in Italy’s logistics and industrial sector reached approximately €1.7 billion, remaining stable compared to the previous year and accounting for about 17% of total real estate investments in the country.

• International capital: A remarkable 97% of the capital invested in the logistics sector came from foreign investors, highlighting the strong international appeal of the Italian market.

La fiera si estende su una superficie espositiva totale di circa 77.844 metri quadrati. All'ultima edizione nel 2023, hanno partecipato 2.320 espositori, di cui 154 italiani, e un totale di 75.649 visitatori (37.094 locali e 38.555 esteri).

ITA - Italian Trade & Investment Agency sarà presente con un Info & Investment Desk nel padiglione B3 stand 216 e svolgerà, in collaborazione con l'associazione Assoporti e Invitalia, attività di attrazione degli investimenti esteri in Italia, con un focus particolare sull'offerta italiana nel settore della logistica e dei trasporti.

Ciò rappresenta un calo del 12% rispetto all'anno precedente e del 26% rispetto alla media quinquennale. La domanda è stata trainata principalmente dalle aziende del settore dei trasporti e della logistica, sebbene anche queste abbiano registrato un calo del 32% rispetto al 2023.

Nel 2025 Il settore logistico tedesco ha evidenziato una miscela di innovazione, sforzi di sostenibilità e investimenti strategici, il tutto affrontando le sfide legate alla carenza di manodopera, alla cybersicurezza e ai cambiamenti normativi.

Nel 2024, il settore logistico italiano ha attratto significativi investimenti esteri, confermando la posizione dell’Italia come hub logistico strategico in Europa:

- Investimenti totali: gli investimenti nel settore logistico e industriale italiano hanno raggiunto circa 1,7 miliardi di euro, rimanendo stabili rispetto all'anno precedente e rappresentando circa il 17% degli investimenti immobiliari totali del Paese.

- Capitali internazionali: ben il 97% dei capitali investiti nel settore logistico proviene da investitori stranieri, evidenziando la forte attrattività internazionale del mercato italiano.
