Cappello Group Spa has been operating for over 55 years in various manufacturing sectors, the know-how acquired has allowed us to activate from the first days of the health emergency in Italy through our R&D department for the creation and patenting of face masks for protection of the respiratory tract (nose, mouth) and eyes. Our industrial project named DROP which can be consulted from our website www.dropmask.it has given rise to the creation and series production of a protective mask in hypoallergenic soft rubber that can be reused indefinitely with interchangeable filters totally made in Italy and produced in our Ragusa (Italy) Headquarter. It is a Class 1 Medical Device certified according to the European standard UNI EN14683: 2019 (type II and IIR) and compliant with EN ISO 10993. Interchangeable filters can be of different degrees of protection. We ship worldwide. We worked hard and in a very short time we developed an anti-covid medical device for the protection of the respiratory tract that could be made available to the whole population, doctors, paramedics, rescuers and all the police forces involved in the fight against the invisible enemy (coronavirus) . We want to make available to the market what we have created and mass produced in our factories in Ragusa, (in addition to our traditional production of all time). Our presence in this portal is justified by making DROP MASK medical devices known (100% made in Italy) compliant with the European standard UNI EN14683: 2019 and registered in the database of the Ministry of Health of the Italian Republic all over the world. We are available on the suggestion of customers / technicians in the reference countries, to expand our product certifications, if necessary to those required in the various reference countries for the correct introduction of our medical device. This is a product that is currently needed worldwide due to the Coronavirus emergency. Our medical device can be used in all possible and imaginable contexts where it is necessary to protect yourself from aerosol particles in contexts of epidemics / pandemics. Disposable triple layer filter of Spunbond (PET) + Meltblown (PBT) + Spunbond (PET) heat-sealed without binders such as latex and glue. Drop Filter Protection DF01 is water repellent, certified UNI EN 14683: 2019 and EN ISO10993 Facial masks for medical use.
Performance: Bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE> 98%), breathability / differential pressure (<40 Pa / cm²). Protection DF01 is a bidirectional filter classified in category Type II. It can be used to reduce the risk of spreading infections, particularly in epidemic or pandemic situations.
Installed on Drop Mask, DF01 can be used by healthcare professionals or in other medical activities with similar requirements, for patients and in general for the population.
