The history of ARCAHORN is linked to the vocation for craftsmanship of its founder, Mario Guerra, who in 1958 set up in Recanati a workshop specialized in the processing of Zebu horn, rediscovering and revaluing masteries almost forgotten, bounded to the territorial tradition.
The main star of our Company’s tale is horn, a natural material pleasing to the touch and to the eye, with a myriad of shades that bring to life limited collections of unique pieces where no two are alike, by nature. Horn shows its DNA only after an intricate production cycle requiring long lead times, deep dexterity and very specific skills that are treasured by expert master craftsmen. After an accurate selection of the best parts and their exposure to fire, horn becomes malleable and ready to be smoothed in complete respect of its properties. With the complicity of few tools, artisans’ hands gradually turn horn into tiles to be skillfully matched together. Every masters’ thought and action is constantly geared towards excellence and meticulous attention to detail in order to ensure collections of unsurpassed quality.
Today, the same passion has been inherited by the new generation of the Guerra family, who blends artisan tradition with continuous research and transforms horn into unique pieces, ranging from furnishing to accessories.

ELECTRA COLLECTION: Inspired by Greek mythology and celestial bodies, the Electra collection is the outcome of constant quest for new shapes and precious materials and stands out for an unprecedented marquetry and for the play of lights and volumes that gives horn a unique identity. Artistic streak and craftsmanship excellence find their ultimate expression through the blend of refined marbles and exquisite horn inlays, bringing harmonious colour combinations to life, that are meant to enhance any interior. Moulded by expert hands, horn acquires a curved shape and an extraordinary transparency. A light filters through it and exalts its naturally veined texture, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere.
